You do not look anything like I imagined.

I think I pictured a helmet and a cape or something. Maybe Rocket Boots, and definitely gloves, and also goggles, utility belt, raygun, some kind of emblem on your chest (possibly a planet with rings or was it a comet?)

I was close.

lol....thanks, FranIAm. i worry not about belatedness. my whole life at this point is belated. and no, it wasn't touchdown jesus (aka, jesus christ, one of you f*@%ers throw me a rope) in ohio. this was brookings, south dakota's very own touchdown jesus which i will try to post about early next week. in fact, as i was driving to the reception, i had the idea that documenting wedding days might be a fun recurring feature here. after all, there's no way i'm seriously going to keep this completely separate from the otherwhirled, anyway. it's not like i can just switch off the acerbity like "that".

hrm....rest and relaxation....what do those words mean, Ripley? heh....i'm not worried about it, to be honest. this is the way my life is, as a wedding photog and soccer referee here in the northern midwest. not many people get hitched in the winter, and we sure as heck ain't going to snowblow the soccer fields in order to play. so, my annual biorhythm looks something like this: _^_ and i'm sliding down the backside of the peak right now is all. ;-)

Tell me you had a wedding at that touchdown Jesus church in Ohio? Or are you kidding me? I once <a href="http://festinalente-franiam.blogspot.com/2007/08/what-are-you-people-trying-to-turn-me.html" rel="nofollow"> posted </a> about that place.

Anyway, sorry you are not exactly feeling the greatest and very sorry you've seen your first frost!

We all feel so pulled I think - so much to do and not enough time. Such is our life at this moment. Then there's the blogging...

This blog is now belated - I apologize - added to the Blogroll It Is at Fran I am!

Well, according to the television and many publications, you may not even be doing enough yet. Go! Rush! Burn the candle! Time spent quietly is time wasted!, and what have you.

I forget who said it - de Tocqueville maybe? - but I remember reading something along the lines of 'I'm continually amazed by Americans' inability to sit quietly in a room.' It sounds like you could definitely use some down time.

Here's to rest and relaxation!
